As Captain of a 90ft luxury catamaran we love the Smartkat. We take it apart and store it below for ocean passages and can leave it assembled all season on deck. They have been a real hit with the guests and one of our most popular and well used toys.

Just returned from five days at the lake just 30 minutes from home... Had a fantastic time with "Wind Song." I attach two pics--- One at the campground set up and at the lake-side ready to go... By myself, sooo, no pics of she and I flying along... but, flying we did!  Heading out Thursday for our six week Southeastern Trip by water most of the time.  She and I will have our time 'of sailing!' When I am not sailing, this 70 year old will be teeing off at the nearing Disc Golf Course... Either one or the other... My wife will be relaxing at the trailer... I have that all worked out!  Take it easy! Glad my timing on the purchase got me the 17'... If it had not, I would have the 17' anyway.  I have had them all from prams as a kid in Miami to a 43' Spindrift with everything in between from Hobies, Scott, Menger 15,etc. and, especially at this juncture in my life and doing a lot of 'trailer traveling' all over the country, my SK17 is fantastic... No longer pulling the sailboat trailer behind the camper.... I have, however, set a rule for myself, and that is, "Set the trailer up one day and the boat the next...." That works best!
